VW Passat Coolant Leak From Radiator

Asked by NotGoodWithCars Nov 09, 2021 at 12:02 AM about the 2009 Volkswagen Passat

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I've recently purchased a 2009 VW Passat. It came with one new plastic hose
to replace the previously broken one. Once I replaced the hose, bought new
clamps, and tightened everything up it seemed fine. But now, coolant leaks
from directly under the car. I'm suspecting the radiator or one of its
attachments, but is there anything I can do to know for certain? Going on day
5 of working on this car and i want to make sure i didnt just purchase
something i can't even use.

Any chance it is coming from the water Pump? Replacing the radiator may be the solution too but I would do your best to determine the location of the leak first.
