water pump change out on a subaru 2.5 rs impreza
I have been told a couple of different things about changing the water pump. while doing a timing belt . some say change it while others say if its a Subaru and working don't change it.. anyone out there have more input?
With timing belt change, the mechanic's already at the pump. Won't take much to do the work then. If you have 40,000 miles on the car, you could risk it. If more, don't.
I would change the pump and the idler wheels when dong the timing belt.
