Floor wet front back and both sides

Asked by Lily Jan 21, 2018 at 04:24 PM about the 2005 Scion xA 4 Dr STD Hatchback

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

The floors front and back, on both sides
have been wet. Any idea where the leak
might be? It seems wetter in front, but I
usually park it on an incline.

door seals ? go through a car wash maybe you can find it , now you have to worry about mold

There are small troughs that carry the AC condensation. If they get clogged, you can end up with water leaking into the vehicle. I have had this happen twice over the years. Not sure if this would cause water in the back; mine was only in the front. A good clue is if it's only happening when you have been running the AC.

The drain plugs are leaking when I drive in rain, or wash the underside. I'm going to spray undercoating, or Flex seal, to seal the floor pan.
