2002 Saturn Vue shifts but does not move

My wife has a 2002 Saturn Vue with an automatic transmission. The shifter inside the car will move to all of the different points like reverse, drive, neutral, however the car never engages or moves. Check tranny fluid,then check the selector linkage on the side of the tranny.If fluid is good,and no linkage problem,you may need a rebuild.

Do you why it's doing this. It runs great but want move when U shift it into gears.
