Changing transmission fluid for my Saturn ion.

How do you check the levels to know if
you need to replace your transmission
fluid? I don't see a dipstick at all. I have an
Ion 2. Is it easy to change the transmission
fluid in this car or do I have to take it to a

If you don't see a transaxle neither, I suggest reading your owners manual. It also is easy.

Do you have a coupe or sedan? The coupes had CVT's. But either way, I'd have a local mechanic or trans shop change the fluid. You need to be under the car to change it properly.
