when should I service the trans axle on my 2006 Vue, standard 4-banger front wheel
drive.

What do you mean, have the Automatic fluid exchanged? If that is what you are asking, 50k is a good number to aim for if it is driven in severe locations or 100k if it is driven in non severe. Should say in the owners manual, if you don't have it, you should be able to download it on Saturn's website.
