Turn signals won't work

My 1995 Ford Ranger truck's turn signal
switch is bad we believe but how can
we tell if the switch is bad before we go
replacing it.. thanks guys for all your
help

Is the flasher unit getting power ? are the sockets in the back getting power ? You'll need a multi tester or test light . Multi tester is more versatile .Let us know if resolved .

are Ford ranger every time we turn the driving lights on on the pasture side the turning signal doesn't come on but when we turn the lights off all the turning signals work we replace all the new bulbs everything else in it could it be a fuse it could you please tell us where the fuse is at for the turning signals
