I changed a bunch of sensors last year and car ran fine brought out for the summer and it is running rough and idling badly. I changed my battery and replaced my computer and still running rough.

Plugs and wires are new last year. Goes on and off.

It runs fine over 2thousand RPM's but bucks when in over drive

Possibly the o2 sensors. I had the same symptoms in an '89. Replaced the o2 sensors and the problem went away.

You may have a vacum leak at the intake replace intake gaskets and check or replace smog pump I have a 95 over a year and runs fine

In the meantime replace pcv valve and screen filter with intake remove hope it fix it

Check the coil pack, one little crack and it causes all kinds of crap

I have a1995 ford mustang GT 5.0. recently I was reving my engine, and just shortly after my car started bucking and hesitating. Almost dieing at a complete stop. If the stop was long enogh it would stop. I have changed the EGR valve, the IAC valve and the fuel regulator. Also I have replaced all of the hoses that go to the upper intake and the upper intake gasket. I just cleaned the MAF sensor with MAF sensor spray cleaner and now the the check enging light is on and it hesitates when I drive. but the rpms are steady as to where before they were all over the band. any Ideas 4 Answers

I have a 2001 3.8 L mustang, it sat for about a year tried to start fuel pump out, ran great previously. Replaced fuel pump motor only, cleaned tank changed fuel filter and it ran great for about 60 miles. All of a sudden running rough misfires, knocks rough idle. Replaced all plugs, coil pack, EGR and 2 injectors (3-4)which showed misfire on diagnostic. First start idles great feels smooth after 15 minutes same conditions occur, sooner when driving.
