IMS bearing is the main concern : http://boxsterguide.blogspot.com/2010/09/intermediate-shaft-ims-bearing-info-and.html Im currently shopping fo a Boxster myself as an upgrade from my virtually problem free Miata. I know that many people will get a PPI Porsche Purchase Inspection done before buying a Porsche this can be done at a porsche dealer or a good independant mechanic and usually cost under $200. Good Luck
