2004 911 Turbo Camshaft deviation

Presently looking at a 2004 911 Turbo for possible purchase.  Diagnostics show a camshaft deviation in bank 1 of .06 degrees but in bank 2 of -3.22 degrees. Should I buy the car?  Is this a serious problem?

The mechanic performing the diagnostics should be capable of giving you the range. Or, are you looking at a hand-held OBD reader? If all is in range, run the car on a Dyno. If the internals are not working, the car will not produce the Correct HP or Torque. Pre Purchase Inspections do not include a dyno. Dyno gives you the heart rate and BP of the engine. Much easier to make a purchase decision knowing what the internals are doing. -good luck-

Unless the engine was torn down previously, I wouldn't worry too much. Those figures might fall within manufactures specs. If the figures exceed those specs, I'd suspect over-revs on the engine and stretching of the timing chains.
