1990 Pontiac Bonneville 3.8 L 6cy Stalls hard to restart

Asked by Jon Jun 08, 2014 at 05:03 PM about the 1990 Pontiac Bonneville 4 Dr LE Sedan

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Recently it has been stalling, and smells like gas once in awhile. When its cool out side it
does better but if its hot it stalls and is very hard to start again. I have cleaned the Mass
air flow sensor and was ok for a day or two, but now is doing it again. Could it be the map
sensor or maybe both of them are bad. I can not do a computer diagnostics on it since
mine for some reason wont read codes.

1 Answer
