Pontiac sunbird

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I.just bought this 1994 Pontiac sunburned,
with a rebuilt engine, and recently a new
trasmission was placed#O. Now car is
stalling, and cutting off after a 100 mile trip.
When it goes over 50, it starts to drive real
rough, shaking, and a new clicking noise at
high speeds. It just had brake booster
placed, so the brakes r fine? I'm reading
about this being a common problem among
the Pontiac sunburned. Any helpful.....info
would be great appreciated

Did you purchase this car from a private party or used car dealership? If so, you're probably stuck with any repairs. And, I'll bet you failed to have it inspected before purchase. This is a great example of how NOT to purchase a used car. Sorry. Hope others can learn from this.
