1995 Firebird locked in park. Have tryed stepping on break, moving shifter, with no luck, button will not go in. Light on dash says "security"

its the sensor in the ignition...the chip in the key!! check for damage on wiring to the piece, key, and fuses. might need to replace that piece. My 94 z28 had that and I replaced the sensor. Baam!
