I'm goint to drop a 97 firebird lt1 motor/trans into a 98 v6 body. Do I also need to swap the drive shaft too?

Have a wrecked 97 lt1 and a complete shell of a 98 v6 firebird. Kinda need to know what all i need off the 97 before i scrap it...

I've done it! I chopped off the front end of a 98 firebird and welded it to my 97 Firebird Formula! Looks like new!
