I was trying to use my mom's battery to a Pontiac
g6 gtp 2006 for my 1998 pontiac sunfire the gtp
battery is an 75vl and the sunfire battery is an 75n
would this this work?

Long as it fits and you can get it hooked up properly, 12V battery is a 12V battery.
