How do you figure out what the code would be. I was trying to program a new remote but moved the wrong toggle pins and don’t know what they were set at. Command start will start the vehicle but shuts down immediately and theft light blinks 05 sun fire with an Astro start

I found my code written in the owners manual that was still in the car. It was 0646...I am sure that was not a factory code. If the person was not kind enough to leave the code I read you can take off the glove box (see those two screws) and might be able to reset it? Also try 1234....this is a standard code that so many people use. I am shocked. My son did it with just the dash numbers. However this car is a B_____ and won't start and spends most of its time in my driveway. My lovely and thoughtful son bought it for me and now he thinks it needs a fuel pump. It will start and not turn over. So after two months of being stranded and broke down, I am thinking if the fuel pump doesn't work this time, I am going to park it and find someone who knows how these babies tick. Great on gas. I had it all ready to do a road trip to have it stuck in my driveway. I had to unpack everything and this made me so sad!!!! Even though it is a tiny car, when it ran it was almost like my 280Z of years ago. Well just kind of. So I am reading all the yeahs and neahs and have come to the conclusion some of these cars are just lemons. Boohoo. I am hoping the fuel pump will work. I told him to clean the spark plugs and we already changed the relay switch, bought a new battery, and had to fix the throttle and gear shifter. It is turning into the bucket of bolts and I need something reliable. If I were more mechanical I think I could handle it. Instead I just break down and cry over being broke down again! He paid $1,400 for it and we have put about another 200 in it. Plus insurance and I have only been able to drive it twice without breaking down. This is just to town and around about say 40 miles at a time. I am so disgusted that people do this to other people. They just want money and will give you all the new headaches. So if you are reading this DO NOT BUY this car! I am going to keep it until someone offers me some man work on my property or house and tell them the truth. Maybe someone who is in a shop class would be able to keep it running. I refuse to say it is a great running car. Women do not need to be broke down on the road in this day and age. God forbid.
