Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I recently took my van into a mechanic &
he told me that my front calibers were
installed backwards. Is that possible? I'm
asking Cause I've had mixed answers
regarding this

It is not that there installed backwards, but probably has happen is someone put the right caliper on the left side and the left caliper on the right side. What this does is put the brake line hose and the bleeder screw upside down so the calipers are hard too, or can't be bled to get all the air out.

The bleeder screws and the brake line hose should be at the top of the caliper when installed correctly. Thats why there is a caliper for the right side, and a different caliper for the left side.
