How do you remove the engine cover on a 99 bonny? The front of the cover appears to be held in place by the oil fill spout.

With no answers coming I looked more closely ,I twisted and pulled until the spout pulled out which released the front of the cover. Looking closely at the removed oil spout I discovered a course thread about halfway around the base of the spout . Going back you line up the entry groove on the spout , push and twist one half of a turn which locks the spout into the block. hope this helps some one else.
