Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Was driving last weekend when car began to lose electrical
power, got jumped drove awhile and happened again. Had
to finally get towed home. I have replaced coils and
alternator but it still will not start, if it is jumped it does as
soon as cables are removed. Is it security, ignition switch??
Any advice would be great.

sounds like the alternator but you already replaced that. Did you have the battery checked to insure it is up to spec? Any auto store will typically do a free electrical system check. Maybe that will point you to the component that is causing the problem.
