Wiper problems

Asked by Aaron Jan 10, 2015 at 10:50 AM about the 2000 Pontiac Bonneville SE

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My wipers have a mind of their own. In the intermittent position they get stuck. This
morning I used the washer fluid and they wouldn't shut off. What could be the problem?

Replace your relays. If no change, it sounds like the switch is going bad.

Awesome thank you. I have been trying to find something on youtube about where to find the relay but I have not been successful. Is there somewhere else I can look?

They are usually located under the dash or under the hood. Check under the cover on the fuse box. Should be a diagram depicting what relay or fuse goes to what. Relays are usually black squares about an inch across.
