Question type: Maintenance & Repair

i changed the top radiator hose about a week ago and when i removed old hose water leaked out and all over misc parts under hood. i did not bleed cooling system but car is not overheating. after hose repair the car started running rough and loud, its sputtering, and surges or accelerates on its own while driving.when car is in idle position at red light the car surges forward and backward and clicking under hood. engine light is on( started out as steady light but now is blinking). after turning car off theres a burning odor from under hood. what and how do i fix problem

most likely you got antifreeze on coil packs look straight under rad hose is that where your spark plug wirs come from if so take compressed air blow that area off

Also check the ECU. Its in a bad spot under the front bumper right where a hose can leak on it. If the ECU or connectors get wet all hell breaks loose, exactly as you described.
