hi , I have a 2001 pontiac aztek base model with current tire size of 215/70R15 on it . I found some used winter tires that are 235/70R15 and was woundering if they would fit?

Try them on to see. You may have clearance problems especially if you use tire cables.

They will be slightly wider and taller. Might not give you enough clearance for tight turns.
