If your talking about the suspension struts then the only way those could come out is if all the mounting bolts were gone and you went over something that would give enough clearance to get it out from under the strut tower, there would be all kinds of problems noted long before this would happen, and if it were to happen while driving the body of the car would slam down on the pavement and be totally undriveable. Now if you talking about an engine strut bar then yes I have seen those get so bad that the collars break and come out while driving, but even then you would hear and feel something wrong long before that happened.

Hope you get them soon, its the pits driving a car with a bouncing suspension, or if they are really bad the ride is very harsh.
