does a 2003 pontiac sunfire coupe require synthetic oil during an oil change? Pep Boys indicated that their system only gave the option of the car to use synthetic oil. I'm questioning this.

They are just wanting you to spend more money, a good brand name conventional engine oil will work just fine. Just remember to always check your oil level at least once a week and change it every three thousand miles or three months.

And we wonder why people don't trust auto shops ........Find a good mechanic and stick with him. It will pay you in the long run.
