What does it mean when the brake symbol comes up on a 2004 Pontiac GTO

It will also come on if your brake fluid level is low. Check it before taking it to have the system checked. If the fluid level is below or around the min level line - add the proper type fluid and see if it cures the problem for you. If not, get it checked out as soon as you can.

I turned my car off and started it back again and I don't see it anymore but I will still get it checked out after I check the fluids but jiffy lube said they checked my fluids last time I got the oil changed
