Reprogrammed used key

My key car was broke and my grandpa replaced
the ignition cylinder, a used ecm and programmed a
key All from the same junk car But now my car still
won’t start. It Cranks but no spark is giving. What
did he do wrong?

Programming most likely didn't work for that key, some anti theft immobilizers stop spark and that sounds like your symptom.

Keep grandpa away from your vehicle and take it to the dealership or call a qualified locksmith to correct the programming issue.
