Engine knocking

I have a engine knocking sound on my car I'm so
stressed because my wife put all her taxes into it

Small "ticks" are typically issues with the valve system. Hard knocks are more likely to come from things in the block. Is it at a regular interval or more sporadic? Could be as simple as a dent in your oil pan or as serious as a bent rod. For peace of mind have it checked by a reputable shop.

My car just started ticking out of the blue n lost engine power i got it pulled over and as soon as i put it in park it died and i had it towed home. No smoke never ran hot and no lights came on the dash or radio. Any clue?
