Car Wont Start

Asked by Grant Aug 17, 2019 at 10:47 PM about the 2006 Pontiac G6 Base

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

One day I drove my car the majority of the day it started and ran fine but
when I left work it wouldnt turn over a mechanic told me it was the starter so
I bought a new one and replaced it I also switched batteries and tested the
alternator and everything checked out okay but still nothing i then changed
the Relay and Ignition switch thinking switching one of these parts should fix
the problem but instead it left me with the same problem all connections
were good but the car was still not holding power somewhere in the car now
I have ran out of ideas as to what it can be all help would be appreciated.

yeah.. good luck. same problem here and I've been trying to fix it for 2 years now. We have replaced the battery, alternator, starter, ignition switch, all of the fuses, all wiring, wiring harness.. nothing helps and 3 different shops can't figure it out.. it seems to be maybe a security system issue .. maybe..
