timing belf broke and i need to know how much it will cost to fix it

get 3 quotes from local reputable shops. It can cost as little as $400 to $800 depending on hourly rate and parts replaced. Most mechanics will recommend replacing the water pump. It will also depend if you use OEM parts or off-brand parts.

Another consideration is if you did any damage to the engine when the timing belt broke. I believe that year model uses an interference engine which means you could have damaged some parts beyond the broken belt. Be prepared to spend more on engine rebuild or replacement if more damage happened when the timing belt broke.
