Does it matter if the fuel pump in the tank are the same as the inline fuel pump

I changed the 2 fuel pumps in the tank with a
defrerent brand as the inline fuel pump

Does not matter what brand,just that it is hooked up the same as the one you removed meaning wiring and line,s.
