Check to make sure the starter is not loose and the bolts are tight.

Thank you,for the quick response . I replaced the starter motor with a remy starter motor. The starter motors from discount auto parts store are junk & made in china. The flywheel teeth where missing 75 % on 4 teeth. The engine starts for now,but is a little noisy, because of the missing teeth on the flywheel. Hopeful I can get 1-2 years from the chewed up flywheel ,before i buy a new van.
