Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have an 02 intrigue and sometimes it won't start. I'll drive it. Let it sit and not
even a couple hours it wouldn't start. Battery is good, alternator, and starter
are both good, all my connections are good two. It's been doing this for
months. I Today it wouldn't start put it in neutral and back in park and it
started right up.. Has any one found the real problem to this? Seeming show
its a common thing in these vehicles. I see lots of questions about this
problem but never a good response

My 2002 Intrigue was not starting all the time. This was not an all the time thing. In the meantime, there was a recall, and the dealership just made new keys and took my old keys. The dealership says it has nothing to do with the recall but i think it absolutely does. Now, until i get the IGNITION SWITCH fixed??, i have to wiggle and giggle my keys to make it start. It is not the starter or battery. I really wish the dealership would do the right thing. Good luck!

I changed out the ignition switch on my 98 Intrigue GLS, problem seems to be gone. Now a bad TPS. It started shifting at 4000 rpm, Also had the Joke of a recall done for the key plug.
