i have a 2003 alero. after the third fuel pump my car still wont start

i take the car to the machanic, they always want to put in a fuel pump. i did this
three time. after a short period of time the car wont start. plz help

What does that mechanic say after 3 fuel pumps? Should be asking him. Hope it is nothing stupid like a fuel filter.
