03 old alero service vehicle soon light

What does it mean when this light comes on and will it still pass emissions and state inspection

it means your automobile will need a oil change, oil filter change, spark plugs and air filter at least, if you do not get this sorted it will cause the automobile to malfunction and will cost $$$$ to fix, a basic service will cost about $75
