A used alternator is a bad idea. I would either have yours rebuilt or buy a quality rebuilt alternator.

I'm looking more for what makes models, types sizes of alternator are capable to run the vehicle. So I can better search for pricing. I thank you for the tip anyway; I think I didn't quite word the question or maybe it just didn't have enough detail. My real question is what alternator's have the same specs or qualities. I'm hoping for a better price but no loss in its sufficient capabilities.
