Alright so i have a automatic 1991 nissan 300zx non turbo, and im buying a 1996 300zx which is manual, the car does not run due to timing belt and water pump. i am going to swap my 91 300zx engine into the 96 coould transmissions just be changed. so to sum it all up. can i make the auto engine a manual by takin the transmission out of the manual.?

I dont see why you cant, Im shure it will take some work. I would check the Z forums and see if someone else has already done this swap that way you see what is involved.

I think that it should work there would be alot of work involved and you may have to pay quite a bit of money but check out for videos of how it's done it should be okay to change them mate
