how do you use the t-top storage (system )?

ther are some plastic brackets in the back of the car,with vacuum style suction cups.i have no idea how to use them

Wow, can you post pics of that somewhere? Maybe it's not what you think it is. The only thing that came with my 300ZX that i know of storing the t-tops were just bags, and there was a strap that held them down in the cargo area. But nothing like suction cups. Are they black and really strange looking? They could very well be headlight adjusters, or so i was told. There should be a set of them, one should be a mirror of the other, black, plastic.

i usually just take them out and stick them behind my seats on their opposite sides. it works pretty well since theres no room in the back due to a sub
