It almost sounds like a bad alternator cause I had the same issue when I bought my sentra.

When I started my car for around a week the radio sometimes wouldn't turn on at all. Then one day the car wouldn't start. Just the clicking sound with radio, lights and everything on. My 1996 Nissan Sentra GXE automatic GA16DE acts like it's trying to turn over but it won't start. I've already tested the battery, it's good, also cleaned the battery terminals; replaced the fuel pump relay, change the spark plugs in Sept 2018 & checked them after this problem started for any cracks, changed the spark plug wires, the rotor & distributor, the car still won't start.
