How do you get the overdrive light to work after it stops lighting up on the dash?

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My dads 92 nissan d21 pickup has an overdrive light that is not lighting up anymore when the OD on the gear shift is engaged. It should show OD off when lit. Is there a way to get it to come on again? Is it a fuse or is it something more that is not worth even repairing?

I wouldn't repair it. You should be able to see the RPM's drop on the tachometer or hear the different engine sound.
