Have you heard of 2019 Subaru Foresters or other 2019 Subaru cars having

Modern Foresters are being rushed through forced-overtime production in Japan, so miscellaneous problems have been higher than domestic production in Indiana. Subarus are painted by robots, but orange-peel is pretty common.

I have 2.0 XT 2018 and noticed a lot of stone chips on front wing, door and bonnet. was just 1 year old with 9000 miles. Subaru had it repaired at body shop under warranty. Chap in body shop said he had another one in with same problems...venetian red colour

Super thin paint is the norm these days. For cars built in the US this is an EPA mandate.

Maybe JDM rushes paint because of bottlenecks? Also, red (and yellow) pigments are the most expensive, so maybe thinner?
