My 1993 nissen sentra fuel and temp gauage don't work. what could it be/

Check you temp. sensor on your motor, should be on the side of the head. All of these gauges share the same circuit note that behind your dash is a printed circuit which may also be the problem. Pull the cluster out and look behind it. Look for a pinched wire or bad connection Start with that. It could also be a bad ground, just start from the least alternative, as appose to just buying unnecessary parts. as for the fuel gauge, check cluster, find wiring diagram for ground and you probably need a new sending unit for it that's what makes it read the level of fuel in the tank and those are in the gas tank.
