Ignition coil

I got no spark coming from my coil. I changed it
out because there was no spark before. How do I
go about looking in to this situation

cam sensor controls the coils from the ECM when you turn over the ignition a signal is sent to the ecm from the cam sensor telling the ecm the engine is turning and the ecm sends a signal to the coil. Sounds like a bad Cam sensor and if not problem with ecm
