1972 Chevelle Sedan 307 sb engine

Asked by Rakishi64 Nov 19, 2019 at 12:41 PM about the 1972 Chevrolet Chevelle Malibu 4 Door Hardtop Coupe RWD

Question type: Shopping & Pricing

1972 Chevelle 4 doors, 307 sb engine. 28k miles. Pretty
good condition. Right now they're asking 8k or best offer. Is
it worth it? NADA states high retail is around 5.5k.

Compare it to other cars for sale rather than using price guides. Hemming's is one place to go. The miles are probably 128,000 or 228,000, not 28k.

it's a four door, the value is not as much as a door, double check the price, seems on the high side if you ask me...

Yup. 4 doors and the economy 307 means this car will never be desirable like a cowl induction LS7 car.

This is a rare sport sedan (coupe) that doesn't have the frames around the window. It's worth more than the average 4 door and should easily be worth $10,000 based upon condition. PS. There were no LS7 cars.
