does a manual transmission have a ID number

I suspect a shop did not changed my transmission as they said did.How can I find out if they did or not?

Not sure if the trannys have an id number. Best place to ask would be a Nissan dealership or service station. You don't need to take the car to them, just give them a call and ask them if there is an id number on the tranny.
