Can you check if any trouble codes are being set? If car is only starting after holding gas peddle all the way down (WOT, or wide Open Throttle) then it's because it is flooding. WOT clears the flood (by restricting injectors) while cranking. This may explain why it starts with peddle depressed, but not why it is shutting off, although the two may have something in common regarding the fuel flow or pressure.

There are no trouble codes being set. You have to press the gas pedal numerous times before it may start even. But once it's starts it randomly just stops without any warning.
