Can I bypass all the heater hoses (whole system) by plugging certain ports on the engine block?

Asked by ZookDoreen Aug 02, 2014 at 05:30 PM about the 1997 Nissan Quest 3 Dr XE Passenger Van

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Tired of replacing leaking heater hoses and I really don't need the heater in Hawaii.  Don't
want to mess with the intake (plenum).  I have enough "scars" on my hands.

Yes but honestly I would find a way to just connect the two heater hoses together. This way the engine will still have the proper coolant flow.
