Heater Not Working

215

Asked by Dale Oct 14, 2013 at 04:13 PM about the 1997 Nissan Maxima GLE

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

The heater does not work it just blows air, but when I go 55+ mph it starts to blow hot. Coolant levels are fine and it looks like
coolant should. Car does over heat at a stand still so I know the thermostat needs to be replaced and will be replaced soon. Any
thoughts on what is going on are welcome.

Try a thermostat and gasket, flush all old coolant out of the system and try not to use any sealer.
