1998 max wont start reg

weird thing happening, I think it may be the factory door lock remote, the car will
start fine once in a while then every so often it wont turn over the lights inside, dash,
doors ect. will come on but nothing.... I take off the cables let it sit for a minute, hit
the alarm turn it off and try to start and sometimes it will start then a day or two
later same thing happens now I can get it to start... any ideas? or Help?

It could be that the starter solonoid is seizing in the arbour. Next time your car won't start try giving it a little smack with a mallet as you have someone else trying to crank it over. If it fires up, then you know you need a starter
