You sure can! If it doesn't fit under the hood, it will fit in the back.

The only way you going to get a small block Chevy in a 1998 Frontier is put it in the bed and haul it off. No it's not that serious but it is serious. You should find an old Chevy with a motor in it and use the motor you're going to put in and the used transmission rear end out of the old car you bought. And put the whole drivetrain in rip out your electrical harnesses and use the harnesses from the old Chevy it will almost break the bank even if you get a cheap old Chevy. But if you're a redneck just Bolt the whole thing in through the wires on it you need and go to town sounds simple and it probably is to a real Bonafide redneck but anybody else I don't know anything can happen but I'm going to try to do it guess what I am. Have a good one I'm crazy Roy and I'm 71 years old but I got good strong friends wish me luck

Crazy Roy again I got to thinking about it and I decided to just to tell me the story on my Nissan Frontier. I bought it brand new in 98 it was a peculiar light green color due to a class action lawsuit they never made that color again. I like the truck so much I went back in a couple of years and said if you'll get me another one the same color I'll buy it now. The sales managers just laughed and said you'll never find another one that color. I said why not and he said no one could see them. I said wow you just answered a big question for me. He said how's that I said the first year I own my truck it was hit 5 times and three of the people were looking directly at me so I understand what you're saying I give $13,707 for the truck I made $5,000 exactly on each of the wrecks any paid for itself the first year plus they were how much is left. So you can see why I wanted another one. I must be lucky because I haven't drove it 21 years now and it's sitting out in the yard looks just as good as it did the day I bought it except for one dent in the door that's from the last person that backed over it. 400000 miles the speedometer stopped working at 3 97 that was the year of the metal timing chain. I bet Nissan on never make another one of those Motors. I've always wanted a small block in it and I figured when it would quit I would do it but it won't quit it don't use any oil he used 1/4 and 167000 Mi and I switched from 5:30 to 10:40 and I've never used another drop. I think sometimes the manufacturer just puts the vehicle out there that's not like other vehicles I've heard that all my life but with this truck I'm pretty sure it's true. In 2000 I was on my way to Florida via Jacksonville crossed all of those high bridges about 3 in the morning I looked ahead and saw a tractor and trailer tire laying down directly in my Lane. I decided rather than try to miss it I knew I would turn over if I did I just tried to hit it perfect both wheels at the same time and I did, hidden went over the will lifting it up sending me sailing 50 to 70 feet in the air come down on its Wheels and I proceeded on to Melbourne. I had them alignment checked and they ran they alignment adjustment all the way out on the left side to get the toe in back and I'm still driving it tires were perfect but I cannot adjust it there's no need to get it lined up anymore because it's run out to the end that's just one of us a thousand stories from the life of my 98 Nissan Extended Cab for Cutie Jeweler green. Wish me luck crazy Roy
