1998 Nisson Frontier battery good, wil not start, starter just clicks?

Possibly loose or dirty battery connections. Also check the negative battery connections on the frame and motor.

Might try lightly tapping on starter with hammer or wrench while someone is turning key to start position. If it then starts your starter is bad and needs replaced.
